Jason Chua [B.appaSc(MRS) MMedRadSc (RadioImageInterpretation)] Our Principal, graduated from University of Newcastle and worked in radiology department and dental radiology department of Westmead Hospital. He was the person in charge of the protocol of CBCT machine. Jason is a CBCT Specialist for more than 20 years experience in radiology. He is a recipient of Dean’s Award for academic excellence, for outstanding performance in the Master of Radiation Science (Radiographic Image Interpretation) 2009 in Charles Stuart University.
Jason is also being headhunted by various organisations for his expertise in the field. Jason is a passionate, dynamic, versatile, entertaining specialist speaker and educator in the field. He has delivered presentations, including keynotes, seminar, workshops, across Australia and South East Asia. Each talk is custom tailored to intended audience to delivered impact for event organisers. He is one of the regular speakers for the annual Forensic Conference in Sydney. It is one of his way of contributing forward to this community.
Dr Louise Brown [Associate Professor
BDSc, MDSc (Perio), MPH, D Clin Dent (Dent Maxfac Radiol), PhD, MRACDS (Perio), FADI, FICD, FPFA] is recognised as one of Australia’s most highly qualified and experienced specialist clinical dentist. She is a triple registered specialist in the fields of dento-maxillofacial radiology, periodontics and public health dentistry. She completed her undergraduate dental degree (BDSc) at the University of Melbourne in 1983, receiving awards and scholarships along the way.
After working in private general practice, she returned to the University of Melbourne to undertake specialty training in Periodontics (MDSc – 1988). Following this, she moved to Adelaide to complete a PhD and undertook her clinical work in the Adelaide Dental Hospital in the Periodontics department. She was awarded an NHMRC post doctoral fellowship which enabled her to study a Master of Public Health degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, which she completed in 1992.
Louise returned Melbourne in 1993 and took up an academic position at the University of Melbourne, eventually convening the specialist periodontal training at the school. She worked for other periodontal practices part time and in 1996, she established her own full time specialist periodontal practice in Ivanhoe. She moved the practice to Kew in 2001, where she practised until she sold the practice in 2012.
Seeking a new challenge, she undertook the Doctor of Clinical Dentistry degree in Dento-maxillofacial Radiology at the University of Queensland from 2013-2015. As well as reporting for many dental practices througout Australia, she also is engaged to report for private radiology practices, from as far afield as Bunbury in WA, Hobart and Sydney. She is a past president of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Periodontists (ANZAP). She holds the honorary position of Associate Professor in Dentistry at the University of Queensland.
